Key requirements

CSSF guidance updating Luxembourg AML rules to reflect AMLD5 ,the previous EU AML directive. Covers public beneficial ownership registers, AML rules for virtual asset exposure, enhanced checks for high-risk third countries and lowered thresholds for prepaid cards. Will eventually be superseded by AMLR-related guidance in 2027.
