Key requirements
UAE's AML rules for non-financial businesses: real estate agents, precious metals and stones dealers, lawyers, accountants and trust and company service providers. These businesses must register with the relevant supervisor, conduct risk assessments, do CDD on customers, monitor transactions and file STRs via the goAML platform. Enhanced scrutiny on cash transactions and beneficial ownership verification.
